RAIN FINALLY ENDS, TEMPERATURES BEGIN SLOW
CLIMB OUT OF THE 40S AND 50S

Rain, which ended yesterday afternoon, completed
the soggy and cool stretch which began on Sunday.
A storm total of 2.31 inches of new precipitation
was recorded by storm’s end, with temperatures
unable to reach the 50F degree mark yesterday.
Yesterday’s average temperature of 46F was 16
degrees below the daily norm.

Cloudy, cool and damp continues have been slow
to clear this morning. By today’s 1:00 PM EST
observation only a few small patches of blue
sky were to be found mostly over the ocean.
Temperatures were only able to reach a maximum
so far of 55F, some 17 degrees below the daily
normal maximum.
