WELCOME TO THE SUMMER SOLSTICE, TEMPERATURES STILL BELOW NORMAL…

A mix of sun and clouds has been the theme today with a nice
cool breeze blowing in off the ocean. Temperatures have made
it to the upper 60s early this afternoon, which is still quite
a bit below what’s normally expected on this date.

The dew point has been sitting in the low to mid 50s, so it’s
been a very comfortable feeling day humidity-wise.

The wind has been generally on the light side once again today,
with an average speed of only around 7mph. The highest gust so
far today has only been around 20mph. Dejavu, I know!

Visibility has been decent most of the day. The view was limited
to around 40 miles early due to some haziness, but quickly
improved to around 70 miles by early this afternoon.

The high temperature so far today is 69F, which is 8 degrees
below the normal maximum of 77F. The low since midnight is 53F,
this is 7 degrees below the normal minimum of 60F.
