ANOTHER PLEASANT DAY ON TAP WITH A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS….

Sunny skies this morning quickly filled in with broken cloud
cover as once again the chilly air aloft caused diurnal
cumulus clouds to develop and grow. This has led to a mix
of sun and clouds (technically more clouds than sun) for
the balance of the day to this point.

Temperatures have warmed into the low to mid 70s with the
dew point generally in the upper 50s to near 60. So it is a
bit more humid than the past few days, but still nothing
uncomfortable, at least for now!

Winds have been quite light today, averaging only around 5mph
out of the west-northwest to northwest. It has finally shifted
onshore within the last hour or so as the seabreeze has taken
over. The peak gust for the day so far is a pitiful 12mph (can
we even call this a gust?), which occurred just before the 1pm
observation.

Visibility has been decent all day, holding at around 60 miles.

The maximum temperature so far today is 76F degrees, which is
2 degrees above the normal high of 74F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 59F degrees, which is 2 degrees above the
normal low of 57F.
