WARM WITH COMFORTABLE HUMIDITY LEVELS UNDER SUNNY SKIES….

It’s another nice day today for early July standards with plenty
of sunshine through a very thin veil of cirrus clouds. Warm
temperatures and reasonable humidity levels is making it another
good day for outdoor activities.

Temperatures are just a touch above normal for today with
readings getting into the low to mid 80s. Despite it being a
bit warmer today than yesterday, the dew point still remains
in the 50s, which is very pleasant for this time of year.

The wind has been on the light side today. The speed has only
averaged around 8mph. The direction has been fairly variable
to this point in the day. The peak gust so far is 20mph which
occurred just after 4am this morning.

Visibility has been more limited today than in recent days.
It started the day around 50 miles, but has slipped a bit to
just around 45 miles early this afternoon.

The maximum temperature so far today is 83F, which is 2 degrees
above the normal high of 81F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 62F, which is 1 degree below the normal low of 63F.
