SIGNIFICANT FOG THIS MORNING GIVES WAY TO CLOUDY SKIES AND
STRONG AFTERNOON WINDS….
Thick fog this morning subsided shortly before the 7 A.M
observation, along with an increase in wind from the west.
Ponds thawed overnight being seen completely unfrozen at
10 A.M. Rain over night left 0.13 inches of rain in the gauge
this morning. Wind picked up in the afternoon, gusting as high
as 44 mph. Some rain showers occurred at the end of the 1 P.M.
observation. Pressure has dropped over night, but it started
to increase after noontime. The high temperature so far today
is 42F, eight degrees above the daily normal maximum of 34F.
The low since midnight is 31F, 14 degrees above the normal
minimum of 17F.
