JANUARY 2014 NOW THE 10TH SNOWIEST ON RECORD…
By 7:00 AM this morning light snow was falling, providing a very
light coating to most surfaces, totaling 0.2 inches with steadier
snow falling to our south and east. Our morning low of 11 degrees
has climbed steadily with abundant sunshine overhead to the mid 20s
with more warming expected through the week.
Snow for the month of January now totals 33.1 inches so far, nearly
double our historic average. The month now ranks as the 10th snowiest
on record. At 7:00 AM this morning, 1 inch of snow was on the ground.
