OVERCAST AND WARMER WITH WIND BECOMING MORE
SIGNIFICANT IN THE AFTERNOON….
We observed overcast conditions for most of the day,
with a pressure drop of almost 6 millibars during the
observation period. Wind from the southwest increased
significantly throughout the day, with a max gust so
far of 35 MPH slightly before 1 P.M. In contrast to
the colder conditions over the weekend, temperatures
today were much closer to seasonal averages. The high so
far today is 36F, 3 degrees above the daily normal
of 33F. The low since midnight is 15F, 2 degrees under
the normal minimum of 17F.
