WINDS GUST OVER 50 MPH THIS MORNING, PRECIP. TOTALS 0.31 IN.

Winds were consistently gusting 40-50 MPH early this morning
as light rain fell.  Rain stopped before 6:00AM, and  winds
began to calm shortly thereafter. Precipitation totaled 0.31 in.

Temperatures continued to warm after yesterday’s 1:00PM ob
to a max. of 46F this morning.  After a brief decrease, they
rose to 53F by today’s 1:00PM ob, 19F above the normal.  The
min. temp. since midnight is 41F, 24F above normal.

Skies quickly cleared as the storm system moved offshore.
Overcast skies at 7:00AM turned to mostly sunny by 9:00AM
and remained clear for the 10:00AM and 1:00PM observations.
Visibility also improved to 70 miles in the late afternoon
and early morning.
