Yesterday’s maximum of 27.0F was reached after 2:00 PM
which quickly receded back into the teens overnight. Tuesday’s
average temperature of 22 degrees was a full 8 degrees below
the daily normal and represents the first colder-than-average
day since the 19th.
This morning’s skies generally featured increasing alto and
cirrostratus with a brief 15 minute period of flurries. Overcast
skies quickly dissipated to the N and W while the temperatures
remained suppressed in the upper teens to lower 20s.
By the 1:00 PM observation virga was visible to the SSW-NNE with
several layers of clouds on the increase once more. Visibility
was 45 miles in all directions, with a day-time maximum of 28.5F
reached so far.
