A MIX OF CLOUDS AND SUN WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS POPPING UP….
Skies have been featuring a mix of clouds and sun through the
day, first with mid and upper level clouds early this morning.
Then more in the way of diurnal clouds as we pushed through the
late morning and early afternoon. A few showers have popped up
around the area as well, but so far none have reached the Hill.
Temperatures have warmed into the mid 70s after starting the
day in the mid 50s. Dew point values are quite comfortable for
this time of year with readings generally in the low 50s.
The wind is much lighter today than yesterday. It’s been mostly
out of a northwesterly direction averaging at around 8mph. The
peak gust for the day occurred back just before 2am with a
speed of 20mph.
Visibility is quite decent again today with a view of around
70 miles.
The maximum temperature so far today is 75F degrees, which is
4 degrees below the normal high of 79F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 57 degrees, which is 4 degrees below the
normal low of 61F.
