IN THE AFTERNOON….

Visibility was limited throughout the day,
with 35 miles on average due to a distant haze.
Conditions were increasingly cloudy, with some
cumulonimbus clouds being seen during the 1 P.M.
observation. A couple rumbles of thunder were
heard to the southwest. Wind has been southerly,
with speeds up to 26 mph. The high so far today
is 85F, 6 degrees above the daily normal maximum
of 79F. The low since midnight is 67F, 6 degrees
above the average daily minimum of 61F.
