ANOTHER SPECTACULAR SUMMER DAY AT BLUE HILL WITH CONTINUED
PLEASANT TEMPERATURES AND DRY AIR…

Abundant sunshine this morning has become more of a mix of
sun and clouds once again today as cumulus clouds have
popped up dotting the sky. The temperature has only reached
the mid 70s this afternoon, which is below normal for the
date.

The best part of this weather is the relatively low dew
points which have been in the low 50s all day. This is very
refreshing air for this time of year, and is perfect for any
and all outdoor activities.

The wind has been generally on the light side once again
today, with a variable direction. The average speed for the
day so far is around 8mph. The highest gust so far today
occurred right around midnight and only registered at around
17mph.

Visibility has been excellent all day sitting at around 80
miles! Just absolutely spectacular for early August!

The maximum temperature so far today is 75F, this is 7 degrees
below the normal high of 82F. The minimum temperature today is
54F, which is 10 degrees below the normal low of 64F.
