WILDFIRE SMOKE CONTINUES ACROSS THE AREA MAKING FOR HAZY
CONDITIONS….

Other than the smoke from wildfires out in the Pacific
Northwest creating hazy surface conditions and a milky sky,
The great weather which we’ve been experiencing recently
continues today. Skies were clear (in terms of no clouds) to the
start the day, but cumulus clouds have developed with diurnal
heating. Some cirrus clouds were observed this morning off to
the west and northwest.

Temperatures are a bit warmer today with readings reaching the
low 80s early this afternoon. The dew point is a bit higher
today as well with values in the upper 50s to low 60s.

The wind has diminished since early this afternoon, even going
calm at times late this morning. The average speed for the day
so far is around 7mph. The peak gust so far for the day is
15mph, which occurred just after 7am this morning.

Visibility has been greatly reduced due to haziness from the
smoke. The view has been only around 15-20 miles all day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 82F, which is 1 degree
above the normal high of 81F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 62F, which is 1 degree below the normal low of 63F.
