DAY FOUR OF HEAT WAVE ON TOP OF GREAT BLUE HILL….
Today was another abnormally hot day on top of Great Blue,
making day four of our heat wave. The high temperature so far
was 92F right around the 1 o’clock EST observation, matching
yesterday’s high temperature. Visibility today was better than
it has been with Monadnock visible after the 10 o’clock EST
observation. Humidity has been dropping through the day which
corresponded with a decrease in haze in all directions. After
1 o’clock, cumulus clouds have been gaining height, improving
chances for a shower or storm later on today. Cloud cover has
also increased as the day progressed.
