WARMER THAN NORMAL AND SUNNY FOLLOWING
OVERNIGHT RAINFALL….

Today we observed light rain and fog this morning
that quickly dissipated following the 7 A.M.
observation. Overnight rainfall left a total of
0.44 inches of liquid precipitation in the gauge.
Visibility improved significantly by 10 A.M.,
with 75 miles being seen. Wind shifted from
east to west since this morning, and became
strong following the 1 P.M. A peak gust of
48 mph was measured around 3:55 P.M. Despite
the westerly flow, temperatures rose to a
high of 60F. This is 9 degrees above the
daily normal maximum of 51F. The overnight
low only reached 35F, 2 degrees above the
normal minimum of 33F.
