CLOUDS AND SHOWERS THIS MORNING GIVE WAY TO PARTIAL SUN THIS
AFTERNOON….

We started the day under a lot of cloud cover with a few showers
moving through during the late morning hours. These showers were
light and only amounted to a trace. Some partial sun has been
observed this afternoon, which has allowed the temperatures to
warm up nicely. All in all, it hasn’t been a bad day.

As mentioned, the temperature is on the pleasant side with
readings making it into the low 60s this afternoon. This is only
slightly above normal for the date.

The wind started the day out of the south, but has since switched
to the west this afternoon. The average speed for the day so far
is around 13mph, so the wind has been busier today than in recent
days. The peak gust so far is 28mph, which occurred after 8am
this morning.

Visibility has been a bit limited today due to haziness. It was
up to 60 miles for a brief time early this morning, but has been
generally around 40 miles for the balance of the day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 63F degrees, which is
3 degrees above the normal high of 60F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 39F degrees, which is 2 degrees below the
normal low of 41F.
