AN ABSOLUTE “TOP TEN” DAY HERE ON BLUE HILL….
It doesn’t get much better than this for early September. An
abundance of sunshine has been the theme today with only some
cumulus clouds popping up by early afternoon.
The air is comfortably dry with the dew point hanging out in
the mid 50s. This dry air has promoted excellent visibility,
which has averaged around 80 miles all day!
A nice westerly breeze has been just adding to the comfort of the
day. Speeds have been averaging between 5-10mph most of the day.
A few gusts exceeding 20 mph have been observed.
The high so far today is 77F, this is 1 degree above the daily
normal maximum of 76F. The low so far today is 57F, which is 2
degrees below the daily normal minimum of 59F.
