ANOTHER MAINLY CLOUDY AND COOL DAY AS THE BROKEN RECORD WEATHER
CONTINUES….

Welcome to Sunday, oh wait, Monday, pardon me, Tuesday! I think you
get the drift as the weather has essentially been the same for a
few days now. Clouds have dominated the sky once again today with
a period of drizzle and light rain that moved in off the ocean
during the mid morning hours. 0.01″ of water was left in the gauge
from this activity.

Much like yesterday, the temperature slowly rose through the 50s
this morning, finally reaching the low 60s early this afternoon.
With the dew point generally in the mid to upper 50s, it’s definitely
another damp day out there.

The wind continues to flow off the ocean, mainly out of the northeast
to east-northeast. It has been gusty at times, but not quite as gusty
as it has been the past couple of days. The average speed for the day
so far is around 9mph, with a peak gust so far of 23mph, which
occurred just before 10:30am this morning.

Visibility has been variable at times with patchy fog early this
morning, and the areas of drizzle and light rain during the mid
morning period. Overall, however, it’s been averaging about 30-40
miles for most of the day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 61F, which is 9 degrees below
the normal high of 70F. The minimum temperature since midnight is 51F,
which is 2 degrees below the normal low of 53F.
