A VERY PLEASANT FALL DAY WITH PLENTY OF SUNSHINE AND SEASONABLY
COOL TEMPS….

The weather system that pushed through yesterday bringing us clouds
and rain showers has moved well offshore by this morning. The storm
total rainfall was 0.27″, which is the total for the month to date.

Today has featured plenty of sunshine as weak high pressure attempts
to build into the region. The air today is crystal clear with 80 miles
of visibility being observed all day!

Temperatures started the day in the mid 40s, but have warmed to the
low to mid 60s by early this afternoon. The dew point is dropping off
from the upper 40s early this morning into the upper 30s early this
afternoon. This is indicative of a rather dry (and chilly) air mass
moving into the area.

Winds are out of the northwest today averaging at around 10mph. The
peak gust so far is 21mph, which occurred just after 11am.

The maximum temperature so far today is 63F, which is 1 degree below
the normal high of 64F. The minimum temperature since midnight is 45F,
which is 2 degrees below the normal low of 47F.
