ANOTHER DAMP AND COOL DAY, BUT FINALLY SOME SIGNS OF DRYING….

Low clouds, drizzle and fog have been the theme all morning into
early this afternoon, however some drying is finally taking place
as the fog has lifted and visibility has improved to around 20
miles at the 1 P.M. observation.

Rain and drizzle overnight amounted to an impressive 1.24″ as
measured at 7 A.M. An additional 0.04″ of drizzle was measured
for the 6 hours ending at 1 P.M. Storm total for the event that
started Sunday evening stands at 2.07″!!

The wind has been considerably lighter than it was yesterday only
averaging 7-10mph since this morning. The peak gust for the day
is only 22mph which occurred back around midnight.

The high so far today is 56F, 9 degrees below the normal max of
65F. The low since midnight is 50F, 2 degrees above the normal low of 48F.
