BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY
MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS
ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2022
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST)
SUNRISE: 0609E
SUNSET:  1647E

OVERCAST WITH DENSE FOG THE THEME, BUT MUGGY AND MILD….

We’ve been stuck in the clouds all day here on the hill with
visibility no more than 1/4th of a mile the entire day. Off and
on drizzle has also been occurring. 0.47″ of rain fell later
yesterday, most of which coming in a thunderstorm between 2:30
and 3 P.M.

Temperatures have managed to reach the low to mid 60s despite
the dense fog. This means that the dew point has also risen
into the low to mid 60s. This is quite muggy for this time of
year.

The wind has been quite light today, generally out of an easterly
direction. The average speed thus far for the day is only
around 7mph.

The high so far today is 64F, which is 6 degrees above the
normal maximum of 58F. The low since midnight is 56F, which
is 15 degrees above the normal low of 41F.
