MUCH COOLER TEMPS WITH WINDS GUSTING OUT OF THE NW

Today’s temperatures have been much cooler and below normal.  The lowest
temperature for the month so far of 36F occurred early this morning during
the 6:00AM EST hour.  Temps had warmed to just 48F before the 1:00PM
observation, but had started falling again by the time the ob was taken.

Winds were gusting to 30 MPH out of the W-WNW today.  Continuing dry
conditions allowed visibility to remain at 70 miles.  Skies slowly became
broken with cumulus in the early afternoon.
