WALL TO WALL SUNSHINE WITH MILD TEMPERATURES TODAY….
Today has featured clear skies with plenty of bright sunshine
through the day. A brisk westerly wind does make it feel a
bit cool, otherwise it’s a very fine mid October day!
Temperatures are a touch above normal for the date with
readings reaching the low to mid 60s early this afternoon. With
the dew point in the low 40s and the brisk wind, there is a
bit of a chill in the air, but it overall feels quite nice
in the sun.
As mentioned, the wind has been a bit busy, generally out of
the west-southwest. The average speed for the day so far is
around 13mph. The peak gust for the day so far is 28mph, which
occurred around 7:45am this morning.
Visibility has been very good today, rising from around 60
miles early this morning to around 70 miles by early this
afternoon.
The maximum temperature so far today is 64F degrees, which is
5 degrees above the normal high of 59F. The minimum temperature
