Yesterday’s steady climb from a morning low of 45F
to a daytime maximum of 61F held in place overnight
as the flow continued from the South. Lowering clouds
and increased humidity met the new day today with
increasing breaks of sun.
The 24-hour maximum from 7:00 AM this morning through
7:00 AM yesterday was 62F which was recorded at this morning’s
7:00 AM EST observation. The mercury continued to climb
toward unseasonable warmth through the morning,
hitting another maximum of 75F through the 1:00 PM EST
observation. Today’s daily record maximum of 79F, set it
2000, does not appear to be in jeopardy for the moment.
