OVERCAST DAY THUS FAR FOLLOWING EARLY MORNING RAIN SHOWERS….
The string of fair weather days has come to an end. After some early
morning rain showers, which brought a paltry 0.06″, the day has remained
cloudy. Temperature and dew point have been slowly creeping up despite
the cloud cover along with a freshening south-southwest wind this afternoon, indicative of a warm front pushing into the region. The dew point has reached 60F as for 1 P.M., as such there is a bit of a humid feel to the air. As a result of the increased humidity and overcast conditions, visibility has been limited to 30-40 miles today.
The high so far today is 67F degrees, which is only 1 degree above normal high of 66F. The low this morning was 52 degrees, which is 3 degrees above the normal low of 49F degrees.
