WESTERLY WINDS CONTINUE TO GUST ABOVE 30 MPH

Wind speeds began to decrease from yesterday as peak gusts reached only
28 kts (32 MPH) so far today. The wind direction had shifted to WNW by the
1:00PM observation.  Skies were mostly clear all day with cumulus and
altocumulus spotted during each observation.  Temperatures once again
fell to an overnight low of 28F but were able to warm above 40F in the
afternoon.  Dew points remained in the high-teens and low-20s.  The dry
conditions help to maintain a great visibility today of 70 miles.
