RAIN AND FOG WITH PLUMMETING PRESSURE ATOP
GREAT BLUE HILL….
Rainfall this morning left 0.45 inches in the gauge
at the 7 A.M. observation. The rain continued through
1 P.M, where we measured another 0.60 inches. Fog
reduced visibility to 1/16 miles for the majority of
the day. However, it broke up momentarily around 10 A.M.,
where a visibility of 5 miles was observed. A wind shift
from ESE-NNW was observed between noon and 1 P.M. Pressure
has dropped by a notable 13 millibars since 7 A.M. The high so
far today is 52F, a degree above the daily normal of 51F.
The low since midnight is 39F, 5 degrees above the normal
minimum of 34F.
