PLENTY OF SUNSHINE AND WARM TEMPERATURES TODAY ON BLUE HILL….
Quite the spring day in progress area the region today with
abundant sunshine under mainly clear skies and above normal
temperatures.
Temperatures have warmed once again into the mid 70s early this
afternoon. The dew point is lower than it was yesterday with
values in the mid 40s, so the air feels much more comfortable
today, making for very fine conditions.
The wind spent some time this morning off the ocean and was a
bit gusty for a time, however it became light and variable by
mid-late and morning and has remained that way into this
afternoon. The average speed for the day so far is around 9mph.
The peak gust occurred early this morning, just before the 7am
observation with a value of 23mph.
Visibility has been decent today despite a bit of haziness due
to pollen. The view has been around 60-70 miles all day.
The maximum temperature so far today is 75F degrees, which is
10 degrees above the normal high of 65F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 55F degrees, which is 9 degrees above the
normal low of 46F.
