Twenty-four hour precipitation totaled 0.39 in. at this
morning’s 7:00AM EST observation. Light drizzle continued
through the day bringing the total to 0.06 in. by 1:00PM.
Fog limited visibility this morning at 2 miles but lifted
enough to reach 20 miles this afternoon.
Temperatures today remained below normal. A low of 43F
occurred early this morning, only 1F below average. A
maximum of 48F was measured by 1:00PM, still 15F below
average.
The 15.0 inches of snowfall for April 2016 was the seventh
snowiest on record. April 2016 also saw a new daily record
of snowfall with 7.3 in. on April 4. This broke the previous
record of 3.7 in. set in 1975.
