PLENTY OF SUNSHINE DESPITE INCREASING CLOUDS WITH ABOVE NORMAL
TEMPERATURES….

Today is another very fine day with plenty of sunshine being the
theme despite the increase in mainly high thin cirrus clouds. Some
low level cumulus have also developed thanks to the surface heating
taking place.

Temperatures have warmed well into the 70s early this afternoon,
giving us out first above normal readings since back on the 18th.
With dew point values slipping from the low 50s to the mid 40s,
the air mass is quite comfortable for outdoor activities.

The wind has been quite light today, only averaging at around 6mph
for the day so far. The direction has been rather variable. The peak
gust for the day so far is only 16mph, which occurred back around
midnight.

Visibility has been fairly decent at around 70 miles, however the
haziness has been increasing throughout the day, likely due to pollen.

The maximum temperature for today is 78F degrees, which is 8 degrees
above the normal high of 70F. The minimum temperature since midnight
is 50F degrees, which is 1 degree below the normal low of 51F.
