EARLY FOG BURNS OFF TO MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES; WARMER AND MORE HUMID….

Dense fog early this morning quickly burned off leaving us with
mainly sunny skies being filtered by high thin cirrus clouds. As
a result of the strong late May sun, temperatures have rapidly
risen this morning.

Readings rose rapidly through the 60s and were in the low 80s by
noon time. Highs are destined for the mid-upper 80s this afternoon,
easily the warmest day of the year so far and a good 15 degrees
or so above normal for the date. The dew point has also risen
from the mid 50s early this morning to the low 60s by early this
afternoon, so it definitely feels more humid today.

The wind has been generally steady all day to this point with a
southwest to south-southwest wind averaging around 10mph. The
peak gust thus far for the day is 18mph, which occurred just
before noon time.

Visibility has been gradually improving as the day progresses,
going from around 15-20 miles early this morning upto around 40
miles by early this afternoon.

The maximum temperature so far today is 82F degrees, which is 14
degrees above the normal high of 68F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 50F degrees, which is equal to the normal low of 50F.
