RAIN AND EVEN SOME WET SNOW FLAKES THIS MORNING, PARTIAL CLEARING
THIS AFTERNOON…

We got a pretty decent dose of rain overnight, which continued
through this morning. A bit of wet snow mixed in this morning
for a few hours as well. 0.56″ of rain was measured at the 7am
observation with an additional 0.09″ measured through 1pm. This
brings our monthly total to 5.85″, which means the month will
finish above normal precipitation-wise.

The rain and snow ended before the 1pm observation and some
partial clearing has taking place. Temperatures, which were
stuck in the 30s all morning, have now risen into the low to
mid 40s this afternoon.

The wind was quite light all day only averaging around 5mph
to this point in the day.

Visibility was quite limited this morning as we were in the
clouds, being at only around 1/8th of a mile. But it has
increased markedly this afternoon exceeding 50 miles outside
of mixed rain/snow showers dotted across the area.

The high temperature so far today was 44F, which is 4 degrees
below the normal maximum temperature for today of 48F. The low
since midnight so far is 35F, which is 4 degrees above our
normal minimum temperature of 31F.
