MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS
ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA

DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
TUESDAY, MARCH 24, 2015
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME

COLD LINGERS FOR ONE MORE DAY, TEMPERATURES FOR THE
MONTH NOW 4F DEGREES BELOW NORMAL

Mostly cloudy conditions with high cirrus overhead present
at this morning’s 7:00 AM EST, when an overnight minimum
temperature of 16F was recorded. Thin fog and haze were present
as well, which somewhat limited visibility.

Yesterday’s maximum temperature reading of 31F was 15 degrees
below the normal, and also 15 degrees below the daily average
temperature. Following one of the coldest February’s on record
here at BHO, March has been significantly colder than normal,
with temperatures averaging more than 4 degrees below the norm.

By the 1:00 PM EST observation high cirrus clouds were invading
once more and were becoming dense. Visibility had dropped from
as much as 70 miles to 40 miles under hazy conditions. A maximum
temperature reading of 35F had been recorded.
