A NICE DAY AFTER SOME MORNING FOG….

We observed fog this morning that brought visibility down
to only a mile. It broke up around 9 A.M., and we saw
70 miles of visibility for the rest of the day. Mild weather
in the region continues to exist despite partly cloudy skies.

Dry conditions continue to be an issue, so a fire risk persists.
The wind is calmer today, with a max gust of around
20 mph. The monthly precipitation departure
stands at -2.96″ and the yearly departure is -3.38″.

The high so far today is 64F, which is 18 degrees above the
normal high of 46F. The low since midnight is 38F, which
is 9 degrees above the daily normal low of 29F.
