Cloud cover this morning broke up throughout the day,
with only some scattered cumulus being seen past noontime.
We saw a visibility of 85 miles at the 10 A.M. and 1 P.M.
observations. Humidity was relatively low today, staying
below 60% and still dropping. The high so far today is 41F,
2 degrees below the daily normal maximum of 43F. The low
since midnight is 28F, 3 degrees above the normal minimum
of 25F. Houghton’s Pond and Lake Ponkapoag are still frozen
over despite abundant sunlight and above freezing daytime
temperatures.
