HUMID CONDITIONS CONTINUE, JUST A TRACE OF RAIN SO FAR,
WINDS GUST OVER 40 MPH ON MONDAY

Yesterday, strong southerly winds gusted to an official
maximum of 41 MPH from the SSW at exactly 3:00 PM EST.
Some instruments, including the RM Young, gusted to a station
high of 48 MPH. The calendar day average wind speed for
Monday was 21.0 MPH predominately from the SSW.

Mostly cloudy and humid conditions continued overnight,
with a low reading this morning of 63F. Spotty showers
began just before the 10:00 AM EST observation, with
additional showers popping up throughout the region
by this time.

By the 1:00 PM EST observation light rain had begun
once again, leaving just a trace at observation time.
During a quick break in the clouds, a maximum of 76F
had been recorded early in the day.
