TUESDAY, JUNE 25, 2024
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST)
SUNRISE: 0409E
SUNSET: 1925E
MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES WITH BRILLIANT SUNSHINE, WARMER….
We began the morning without a cloud in sight, but since then
some cirrus have made an appearance to the west, along with fair
weather cumulus popping up locally. Still, abundant sunshine
has been the rule.
We began the morning in the low 60s, rising quickly into mid
80s by the afternoon. The dew point has hovered right around 60F,
so while it is certainly hot, it does not feel too sticky out there.
The wind was more active in the early morning than it is now, with
an average speed of 11mph so far. The flow is out of the northwest.
The peak gust took place just after midnight, with a value of 26mph.
Visibility has been hindered by haziness, with views dropping from
40 miles to 30 miles as the day has progressed.
The maximum temperature so far today is 85F, which is 6 degrees
above the normal high of 79F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 61F, which is equal to the normal low of 61F.
