MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS
ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA
DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
TUESDAY, JUNE 2, 2020
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME
A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS TODAY WITH WARMER TEMPERATURES…
A few light rain showers moved through last evening
bringing only a trace of rain to the hill. Otherwise
continued dry weather has been the dominant theme.
The yearly precipitation departure is currently at
3.05 inches below normal.
A mix of sun and clouds has been the theme again today
with warmer temperatures and a mainly light breeze out
of varying directions. The air isn’t as dry as yesterday
however with dew points ranging from the upper 30s early
this morning to the mid 40s early this afternoon.
Visibility has been very good for this time of year
starting the day at 70 miles, but has slipped a bit to
60 miles this afternoon, likely due to a bit more moisture
in the air compared to yesterday.
The high so far today is 69 degrees, this is 2 degrees
below the daily normal high of 71F. The low since midnight
is 45F, which is 8 degrees below the daily normal low
of 53F.
