MODERATE TO STRONG WIND GUST FROM THE NORTHWEST BRINGS
WARM AND PARTLY CLOUDY CONDITIONS TO GREAT BLUE HILL…

Today’s temperatures still remained higher than the normal with a
maximum of 81F so far today.This is 5 degrees above the daily
normal of 76F. With yesterdays passing thunderstorm, there was
0.11 inches of precipitation measured at the 7:00 A.M. observation.
The wind mainly came from the northwest today, allowing slightly
better visibility of 50 miles by 1:00 P.M. .Wind continued to
be moderate to strong today, with frequent gusts over 20 MPH.
So far, we have had a peak gust of 26 kts (30 MPH) by 1:00
P.M. Our low min since midnight was 68F, which is 1F degree
below the record high min of 69F set back in 1995.
