WARM AND DRY WITH ABUNDANT SUNSHINE ON BLUE HILL TODAY….
Perhaps a top 10 day today! Wall to wall sunshine has been the
theme all day despite some high thin cirrus clouds this morning.
This afternoon a few small cumulus are dotting the sky, but
not enough to shade us from the sun.
Temperatures have warmed into the upper 70s and low 80s early
this afternoon with dew points in the low to mid 50s! It doesn’t
really get much better than this in mid June.
The wind has been generally on the light side with occasional
gusts upwards to 20mph. Wind direction has been mainly out of
the north-northwest with an average speed around 10mph.
Visibility has been excellent all day with 70-80 miles being
seen today. All in all just a beaut of a day here!
The high so far today is 79F, which is 4 degrees above
the normal maximum of 75F. The low since midnight is 58F,
which is 1 degree above the normal minimum of 57F.
