CLOUDY AND COOL WITH PERIODS OF DRIZZLE AND SHOWERS….

As a frontal system moves through the region, clouds and fog have
dominated once again today with periods of drizzle and showers
moving through. 0.03″ of rain was measured at 7am this morning
with an additional 0.15″ being measured through 1pm.

Temperatures remain on the cool side today with readings mostly
holding in the upper 50s, although we did barely reach 60F for a
brief time around the 1pm observation. This is once again around
15F degrees below the expected values for this time of year.

Winds have been mainly on the light side today, even going calm at
times this morning. The average speed for the day so far is only
around 5mph. The peak gust for the day so far is a measly 14mph,
which occurred just before 2pm this afternoon.

Visibility has been severely limited today as we’ve been in the
clouds all day. The view has varied only between 1/16th and 1/8th
of a mile.

The maximum temperature for today is 60F degrees, which is 14 degrees
below the normal high of 74F. The minimum temperature since midnight
is 54F degrees, which is 2 degrees below the normal low of 56F.
