BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY
MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS
ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA

ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME

WARMER TODAY, BUT LIMITED SUN THANKS TO A DECK OF MID AND
UPPER LEVEL CLOUDS….

Despite not having much sun again today, I’m sure many are
not complaining since it’s dry and much warmer than the past
few days. A deck of mainly high clouds (with some mid level
clouds floating by at times) has filtered the sun a great
deal. Even so, temperatures have been able to reach the low
to mid 70s.

Once again today there has been little wind to speak of. The
average speed since 7 A.M. is only around 7 mph. The peak
gust so far is only 17 mph, way back at 2:30 A.M.!!

Visibility hasn’t been great today, generally hanging out
between 30-35 miles due to haziness.

The high so far today is 70F, which is 1 degree below
the normal high of 71F. The low since midnight is 50F,
which is 3 degrees below the daily normal low of 53F.
