OVERCAST SKIES AND FOG ARE SLOW TO CLEAR

Light rain began early this morning and continued as very light
drizzle through the early afternoon.  A total of 0.17 in. fell
before the 7:00AM EST observation with an additional 0.12 in.
falling by the 10:00AM ob.  Overcast skies and fog were slow to
clear.

A morning low temp. of 65F was measured, and temperatures reached
a maximum of only 73F by 1:00PM.  Dew points remained in the upper
60s creating a spread of only 1-3 degrees and 90% humidity.

The final heating degree day total for the 2015-2016
season is 5282. This is the second lowest on record.
