MORNING FOG, OVERCAST CONDITIONS, AND LIGHT RAIN AT BLUE HILL TODAY…

Today has been overcast with light rain throughout the day. There
was an overnight thunderstorm and some rain that amounted to 0.65″
of precipitation. Due to the lack of sunshine temperatures have
remained under average with the maximum temperature reaching 71
degrees so far. The dew point has remained in the upper 60’s
throughout the day with relative humidity at or near 100% for most
in the morning and afternoon.

The wind has been relatively low for most of the day with an
average of only about 6 mph mostly from the East. The peak gust
for the day so far occurred shortly after midnight at 16 mph.

Visibility was under 2 miles for most of the day with a noticeable
clearing of about 30 miles during the last observation. Fog was
present for most of the day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 71F, this is 10 degrees
below the normal high of 81F. The minimum since midnight is 66F,
