A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS, MUCH WARMER AND MORE HUMID….

The upper level low that impacted the area yesterday has moved
well off to the north today leaving us with a south-southwest
flow both at the surface and aloft. This is allowing the much
warmer and more humid air mass to advect into the region today.
The sky has seen a mix of sun and clouds all day after the
early morning fog burned off.

Temperatures have warmed into the mid 80s by early this afternoon
with humidity levels also on the rise. The dew point has been
gradually rising from near 70 early this morning into the mid 70s
early this afternoon. Quite the contrast to the more pleasant
air we felt over the weekend.

The wind has been on the busy side today with the south-southwest
flow averaging at around 14mph for the day so far. Frequent gusts
of 20-25mph has been occurring since last evening. The peak gust
for today so far is 28mph which occurred during the 10am
observation period.

Visibility has been limited all day and has been no higher than
15 miles. Mostly due to fog early this morning, but then general
haziness thereafter.

The maximum temperature so far today is 85F, which is 3 degrees
above the normal high of 82F. The minimum temperature since midnight
is 67F, which is 5 degrees above the normal low of 62F.
