MORE CLOUDS THAN SUN TODAY, BUT STILL WARM AND QUITE HUMID…

Early morning fog burned off, but a lot of low level cloud
cover remained through the morning hours. As we got into
the early afternoon, the lower clouds mainly dissipated, save
for a few cumulus, but mid and upper level clouds remained,
keeping any meaningful sunshine at bay. Haziness from the
wildfire smoke continued to reduce visibility after the fog
burned off, with views of generally around 10 miles late this
morning, however conditions have started to improve this
afternoon as the visibility has increased to around 20 miles.

Temperatures have warmed into the low to mid 80s despite the
abundance of cloud cover. With the dew point in the low 70s,
it feels rather stuffy outside.

The wind was generally light this morning, but has picked up
some this afternoon. The average speed for the day so far is
around 10mph, partly indicative of the increasing wind the
last few hours. The peak gust so far is around 23mph, occurring
just after 2pm!

The maximum temperature so far today is 84F, this is 2 degrees
above the normal high of 82F. The minimum temperature today is
70F, this is 6 degrees above the normal low of 64F.
