REMAINING HOT AND HUMID WITH A BREEZE….

Similarly to yesterday, it is hot and humid yet again today, with
temperatures reaching 90F by the early afternoon. There is
one area of improvement over yesterday though, as while it remains sticky,
the dew point has lowered a touch, holding between 69F and 70F.

We began the morning with mostly sunny skies, featuring scattered altocumulus
and cirrus. The altocumulus quickly cleared out, but the thin cirrus has stuck
around. By late morning, cumulus began developing well off to the west through
northeast, though coverage has decreased by early afternoon.

Winds have been steady today, and the comfortable breeze is making the
outdoors a bit more tolerable. The average speed so far is 11 mph, primarily
out of the west-southwest. The peak gust took place this morning at 8:30am,
with a value of around 26mph.

Visibility began the morning at only 20 miles due to haziness. As the day has
progressed, views have improved to 50 miles.

The maximum temperature so far today is 90F, which is 8 degrees
above the normal high of 82F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 72F, which is 8 degrees above the normal low of 64F.
