WARM AND BECOMING MORE HUMID UNDER MAINLY SUNNY SKIES….

Sunshine has been the theme today, but signs of clouds gathering
to the west are showing up this afternoon as our next cold front
approaches the region.

Yet another day with temperatures warming into the mid and upper
80s. The big difference today is the increase in humidity as the
dew point has risen from the low 60s this morning to the upper
60s this afternoon. It may top out into the lower 70s this
evening as moisture pools ahead of the front.

Thankfully there is a nice breeze out there today helping to
mitigate the discomfort from the increased humidity levels. The
wind has been gradually backing from the southwest to the south-
southwest. Gusts between 35-40mph have been occurring since mid
morning. The average speed for the day thus far is around 17mph.

Visibility has been limited today due to general haziness. The
view has slipped to 35 miles this afternoon after being around
40 miles this morning.

The high so far today is 86F, which is 4 degrees above the
normal maximum of 82F. The low since midnight is 63F, which
is 1 degree below the normal minimum of 64F.
