A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS TODAY WITH A WARM BREEZE….

Finally a day that didn’t start with fog, nor a wind off the
ocean! Sunshine has been fairly dominant today with only a
few clouds of varying amounts and types through the day. A
thin smoke layer has also returned aloft.

Temperatures have warmed into the low to mid 80s early this
afternoon. The dew point remains on the high side with values
in the mid 60s, so it still feels a bit sticky out there, but
there is at least a nice breeze blowing today.

As mentioned, the wind has been busier than in recent days.
The average speed so far for the day is around 11mph. The peak
gust so far is around 25mph.

Visibility has been very good today with 50- 60 miles being
seen all day!

The maximum temperature so far today is 83F, this is 1 degree
above the normal high of 82F. The minimum since midnight is 62F,
which is 2 degrees below the normal low of 64F.
