FOGGY DAY WITH FROZEN PRECIPITATION IN THE MORNING CHANGING TO LIGHT RAIN IN THE AFTERNOON….
Visibility decreased from 10 miles this morning to 1/16 mile due
to intensifying fog throughout the day. Light snow was observed
at 7 A.M., and light rain with ice pellets fell until around noon.
Light drizzle was seen for the remainder of the observation time.
Winds stayed southerly with speeds occasionally exceeding 20 mph.
The high temperature so far today is 38F, four degrees above the
daily normal maximum of 34F. The low since midnight is 24F, six
degrees above the normal minimum of 18F.
The year of 2018 has placed 3rd for the most annual
liquid precipitation, statistics are shown below.
